Sometimes what you see and what you hear just don’t add up. That’s pretty much the case with this awesome diesel Jeep Wrangler JK conversion. It’s certainly out of the ordinary to see a Wrangler JK rolling coal, but the whine of that diesel engine going by tells you very clearly that this is no ordinary Jeep.
His momma told him if he worked real hard, he could grow up to be anything he wanted to be. Problem is, there weren’t any tractor pulls nearby for him to practice. So he just hooked himself up to daddy’s D5 and put the hammer down. Maybe someday he’ll be a real tractor puller.
AD Boivin manufacturers some interesting conversion kits for dirt bikes. We came across a video for the Explorer kit, which essentially replaces the tires with a ski up front and snowmobile-like tracks in back to make them snow-ready (or the tracks can be installed in back while retaining the front wheel to ride on sand).
AD Boivin says the kits are available for a number of dirt bikes (the site says 250F models and up). AD Boivin also offers snowmobile conversions and suspension kits, offering the Snow Hawk conversion for snowmobiles that replaces front skis with one main ski.
