BJ-Baldwin-Preview-Baja-1000-11-14-13Ensenada, Baja California – BJ Baldwin is in the midst of final preparations for the 46th annual Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 (B1K). He won the B1K last year and hopes to back that up with the victory this year as well. BJ ran the entire 1,120 mile “Peninsula Run” race driving solo with a winning time of 20 hours and 59 seconds.

Driving solo again this year, BJ has spent hours prerunning the 883 mile loop course that covers the gamut of treacherous and punishing Baja terrain. This is the longest loop course ever run during the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000. It starts and finishes in Ensenada-Baja California, Mexico. The course travels southeast to San Felipe on the Sea of Cortez before heading south through the infamous Coco’s Corner. It then heads to the Pacific coast, up through Ojos Negros and back to Ensenada for the finish.
