TORRANCE, Calif.
— The 2015 Tundra TRD Pro Desert Race Truck not only raced for over 1,200 miles to a first place finish at the 47th Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, it was also driven an additional 1,000 miles back to the start line of the race.  The Toyota team was first to the finish line in its “Full Stock” class, led by team coach and legendary Toyota off-road racer Ivan “Ironman” Stewart, and piloted by Toyota engineers and Toyota athletes.

SCORE-Logo-12-20-11SAN DIEGO — Soften spoken and easy-going, Dan Chamlee usually lets his racing speak for itself but he will make a public appearance this week when he is featured in the SCORE spotlight during Tuesday’s Dirt LiveHD internet show at 7 p.m. (PT). Airing in High Definition on www.score-international.com, the show is airing from its home at the SCORE International tech shop in El Cajon, Calif., just east of San Diego.

Chamlee, 51, of Cupertino, Calif., has earned eight SCORE Class 7 season point titles in his career, including straight and eight in the last nine years. Chamlee drives the No. 700 Factory Appliance Ford Ranger in the SCORE open mini-truck class where he has been near the top of the leaderboard for the last nine years.

In the three SCORE Baja races, Chamlee has won his class 12 total times including five each in the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 and Tecate SCORE Baja 500 and twice in the Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250.
