Jeep Girls Feature
A woman who happily encourages her man to go off-roading is a rarity.

A woman who accompanies her man off-roading is even better.

A woman who drives and can work on her own Jeep is… priceless.

When I see an ATV repair video produced by “Marty’s Motorized Mayhem” you can bet I’m going to watch it.

Unfortunately, Marty has a hole or two in the exhaust can on his Honda four wheeler. This can certainly ruin a day of riding, but Marty wasn’t having any of that. First, he wrapped what looks like tinfoil around the holes for a quick fix so his ride wasn’t spoiled. Later, he offers a more permanent solution with a piece of tin and some wire.

It’s far from pretty and we’re not sure how long it will hold up, but if you don’t have a lot of extra cash lying around for a new exhaust, Marty’s solution could get the job done. Backyard mechanics rule! Check out the video after the jump.

We love backyard mechanics and their creations. Recently we found some photos of a very cool snowmobile project built by a retiree from the Russian city of Korov.

The machine is powered by an old Yamaha engine and the rest is made up of scrap. The fiberglass seat comes from an old carousel and the gear shift lever appears to some sort of Coca-Cola collectible.

What really sets this machine apart is that it uses a big wheel instead of a track. Check out more photos after the jump.
