Apdaly Lopez entered the 2015 SCORE International Baja 1000 third in points behind Dougans Engine racers Tavo Vildosola and Lalo Laguna. With an official second place finish at the Baja 1000, Lopez became the first Mexican national driver to win the SCORE Trophy Truck and SCORE Overall season points championship.

2015-SCORE-Baja-1000-Logo-9-30-15POMONA, Calif., USA — Another radically rugged race course of approximately 840 miles for the granddaddy of all desert races was unveiled Saturday at the SCORE Baja 1000 exhibit area in Building 5 at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo at the Fairplex in Pomona, Calif. The popular consumer show will be open Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (PT).

The season finale of the five-race 2015 SCORE World Desert Championship is expecting nearly 250 entries, from 25 countries and 40 U.S. States to compete in this year’s 48th annual Bud Light SCORE Baja 1000. The race week festivities will cover Nov. 17-21, with the race and all side events starting and finishing in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.
