Darren “Hot Sauce” Hardesty Jr. has made it into the top 25 in the Search For A Champion contest and needs your continued support. Darren is an offroad racer competing against mostly circle track, drag racing, and road course drivers for the top prize, a $50,000 sponsorship from Champion Auto Parts. He is deserving of such a sponsorship and it’s time offroad racing had one of our own winning the Champion contest.

Truck cap and tonneau cover manufacturer A.R.E. built a unique truck for the 2010 SEMA Show paying tribute to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. With its facilities in Massillon, Ohio, being just 10 or so miles away from the Pro Football HOF in Canton, Ohio, A.R.E. decided to customize a 2011 F-150 tying in all of the intricacies of the HOF into the truck. Before the truck was fully built, A.R.E.’s Director of Marketing Bryan Baker explained the idea of the truck.

The NASCAR world got the first glimpse of Robby Gordon’s newest venture last weekend at the Talladega Speedway, but the off-road world may just be learning of his exciting new news.

Last weekend at Talladega, Gordon announced that he and longtime friend and attorney Steven Nichols have formed a partnership to manufacture, distribute and retail a new energy drink called Speed Energy. Gordon’s announcement came at a press conference before the NASCAR race, and he sported the new logo on the side of his #7 Toyota for the first time last weekend. He noted at the press conference that Speed Energy will come in three different flavors that include Unleaded, Fuel and Octane.
