Called the VelociRaptor 6X6 Concept, the kit brings along plenty of upgrades and a steep price tag, starting at $295,000. For that price, this beast brings upgraded Fox suspension bits, 20-inch wheels, off-road tires, unique front and rear bumpers, a roll bar and LED lights. And of course, an extra locking axle, bringing along the 6X6 moniker.

Did you know that roundabouts serve a couple of different purposes? Sure, initially they were designed to improve the flow of traffic but they’re also great for practicing your drifting skills.  This guy is apparently training to be the Ford Raptor Drifting world champion.

Ford trucks earned top honors at the Texas Auto Writers Association’s 2016 Texas Truck Rodeo, with the all-new 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty – the toughest, smartest, most capable Super Duty ever – being named “Truck of Texas,” the most prestigious award given at the 23rd annual competition.

Ford Raptor Pulling Feature
We often wish we could listen in on the conversation that took place just before some of the videos that we find online.  If we had to guess what lead up to this Ford Raptor vs. Chevy Silverado pulling contest, it probably went a little something like this…

Ford just previewed its 2016 SEMA Show F-150 trucks, and there’s a wide range of customized trucks it will display at this year’s show.

– Ford, America’s truck leader, continues its relentless pace of innovation and performance, helping customers get better mileage out of each gallon of gas in the 2017 Ford F-150. Thanks to the all-new 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine mated to the first volume-production 10-speed automatic transmission, EPA-estimated city, highway and combined fuel economy increase 1 mpg, with the combined rating for 2017 F-150 4×4 up 2 mpg.

It appears that a United Automobile Workers (UAW) representative may have spilled the beans on Ford’s plans for the rumored Ranger and Bronco return. The news is being reported now by multiple outlets, but the initial word broke during an interview for the Detroit Free Press when a UAW regional boss noted that the Ford Ranger and Bronco would be produced at the Wayne, Michigan, plant.

It’ll be easy to an easy point to miss so we’ll put it right up front: The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will be more fuel efficient than the previous generation – and 23 percent more efficient at that! OK, while that’s all true, we’re sort of kidding about putting that up front because the real headline most care about is the performance numbers of the new Raptor’s twin-turbo high-output EcoBoost V6, which need to be impressive since the new engine is replacing the outgoing 6.2-liter V8. Fortunately they are, and any concern in regards to performance should be laid to rest with the claimed 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. rating of the new Raptor.

Ford will offer its new adaptive steering technology on the all-new Ford F-Series Super Duty pickup and Ford Edge SUV to make it “easier to steer at all speeds.”

A leaked document could have just revealed the specifications for the highly anticipated 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor.
