The National Forest Foundation (NFF) is pleased to announce an expanded partnership with Polaris Industries Inc. (NYSE: PII). Through Polaris’ $108,000 donation, the NFF will improve motorized-recreation opportunities on two existing off-highway vehicle (OHV) trails in Minnesota and Florida.

SCORE-Baja-500-Logo-2017Andy McMillin earned the Overall and Trophy Truck victory at the 2017 SCORE Baja 500 this past weekend ahead of Justin Matney and Rob MacCachren, who finished in second and third, respectively.

In Class 1, it was the duo of Brian Wilson and Kyle Quinn who earned the class win with a time of 11 hours, 43 minutes and 32 seconds. Finishing second in class was Mike Malloy, while third in class went to Al Torres.

SEMA-Logo-1-3-13DIAMOND BAR, Calif. — Tim Martin from K&N Engineering has been elected the chairman-elect of SEMA and will help the SEMA Board of Directors lead the association for the 2017-2019 term. Martin fills the position held for the past two years by Wade Kawasaki of The Coker Group. Kawasaki will begin serving his term as chairman in July. James Lawrence from Power Automedia was also voted onto the SEMA Board of Directors, and Greg Adler from Transamerican Auto Parts was re-elected and will serve another term.

SEMA Board members are industry representatives who volunteer their time to lead and guide the association. They are elected by all SEMA-member companies and represent the key membership categories: manufacturers, distributors/retailers, manufacturer reps, and services.

Baldwin, Kory Halopoff, Curt LeDuc, Harley Letner, Curt LeDuc, Carlos ‘Apdaly’ Lopez, Rob MacCachren, Gustavo ‘Tavo’ Vildosola Jr, Justin Morgan and Mark Samuels.

That illustrious group is at the top of a field that includes 62 racers who have combined for 208 class wins in this legendary early summer desert race. Nearly 275 total entries are expected.

With festivities starting on Wednesday, Round 2 of the four-race 2017 SCORE World Desert Championship is being held this week in Mexico’s Baja California Norte, starting and finishing in Ensenada, the seaside port on the Pacific Ocean, 80 miles south of San Diego.
