Greg-Adler-Motorsports-4-Wheel-Parts-6-24-15Compton, California –  What began as a promising weekend on the track for Greg Adler and Team 4 Wheel Parts ended in the disappointing postponement of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series National event July 18-19 at Southern California’s Legendary Glen Helen Raceway. As the prospects of the leading edge of Tropical Depression Delores making its way north increased, the team prepared for Rounds 9&10 with a successful practice session on Friday afternoon.

“We went out and ran some great laps and the truck felt strong,” said Adler, who was the second fastest truck in the marquee Pro4 division. “Glen Helen is a tight track and there aren’t a lot of opportunities to pass, so with the package we had in practice, we went home ready to come back in the morning and throw down a great qualifying time that would give us a solid shot at the podium for Saturday night’s race.”

SAN BERNARDINO, CA
– Kyle LeDuc and Toyo Tires captured their eighth consecutive Pro 4 class win on Sunday morning during the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series race at Glen Helen Raceway Park in San Bernardino, CA.  LeDuc’s Toyo Open Country M/T-R equipped #99 Monster Energy / Toyo Tires Ford F-150 truck once again proved flawless, this time on a muddy track surface.

Weather was fickle all weekend, impacting the track as well as the race schedule.  Heavy rain from tropical storm Dolores caused Round 9 to be postponed on Saturday. Officials managed to get the race in on Sunday morning before even more rains moved in, turning the track into a mud pit and forcing a postponement of Round 10.
