Tooele, UT – After landing on the podium in Lake Elsinore, Brandon Arthur was right back up on the box when the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series travelled to Tooele, Utah. Racers covet speed and pray for luck but the most sought after attribute would have to be consistency. Consistency wins races and builds the foundation for a championship. In rounds 7 and 8, Brandon was perfectly consistent. He finished second place in both rounds.

Greg-Adler-Motorsports-4-Wheel-Parts-6-24-15Compton, California –  What could possibly be the final Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series event at  Miller Motorsports Park developed into a challenging weekend for Greg Adler and Team 4 Wheel Parts as they battled mechanical gremlins and attrition throughout Rounds 7&8 at the sprawling Tooele, Utah facility.

Adler had a strong performance during Saturday morning’s first practice session as the team fine-tuned the truck for the pre-race qualifying session. Unfortunately, track conditions changed drastically from the morning practice and as Adler took to the course to post his best time, traction was at a premium. Challenging for a quality starting position, Adler’s 900HP Pro4 slid wide and into the concrete wall known as “k-rail” surrounding the track. The damage was immediate and decisive and with a short window of time before opening ceremonies the veteran Team 4 Wheel Parts crew was immediately put to the test.

The latest weekend of the TORC Series presented by AMSOIL was titled, the Chicagoland Slam, and the event quickly lived up to the title. After Douglas Motorsports ended Thursday night with a podium finish, Friday night ended early due to the “Slam” that was a major component in both PRO-4×4 rounds of racing. Regardless of the outcome Scott Douglas knows his team continues to give him a really fast race truck every time he enters the track.

Brian-Deegan-Lucas-Oil-6-23-15
The final race for the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah was bittersweet for Brian Deegan. Miller Motorsports Park will be ceasing operations in October of this year. Unless a new lessee comes forward to take over the track, it might have been the final race there for the Lucas Oil Series. It was also the first podium for Brian Deegan in his new Rockstar Energy / Makita Power Tools / Ford Pro-4. After a hard fought race in round 7 that saw several re-starts, Deegan worked his way up from the 7th spot to finish on the podium in third. Due to all the starting and stopping, his engine was running a bit hot. He had to drive at a restrained pace in the closing laps. He knew there was more left in it for round 8 on Sunday. He set a milestone for the new truck but at a track that will be relegated to history and therefore never repeated.
