The contest is designed to gather entries from girls all across the country and, using social media, have fans vote on which girls they would like to see become Charlene’s co-driver for one of the events. With the largest Unlimited Rock Crawling Car field in the East expected this weekend, the crowds of spectators at Katemcy Rocks will have a lot to look forward to at the W.E. Rock eastern season opener. The rock formations in Mason, TX are second to none. Big climbs, great crack lines and big boulders make technical crawling easy to find. Teams from as far as Maryland and Georgia will be competing in Texas this weekend with many of the teams never seeing the terrain, which always makes it more fun.
With 24 different vehicle classes at The Mint 400, there is a class for everyone. Jeeps were some of the first off-road vehicles raced in the late ’60s and early ’70s. The Jeepspeed Class is the evolution of those early off-road machines.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Barstow Field Office, has announced dates, times, and locations of public meetings to allow public input in the development of the Rasor Off-Highway Vehicle Area Management Plan.
The goal of public input is to assess a variety of issues and proposed solutions. Comments and concerns regarding land use, off-highway vehicle area access, visitor services, off-highway vehicle recreational opportunities, facilities, resource values and monitoring are welcomed.
Monday marked the halfway point in the 2016 Rally Aïcha des Gazelles and three American teams started the day in the top five. While the Swiss duo of Regine Zbinden and Ela Steiner held a slight lead, Americans occupied positions two through four.
Second overall was the #180 team of Nicole Pitell-Vaughan and Chrissie Beavis. Jo Hannah and Susanah Hoehn of Hoehn Motors Land Rover were third in the #107 Land Rover LR4 and the #178 Land Rover Defender team of Emme Hall and Sabrina Howells was fourth.
