The Ram 2500 Outdoorsman concept truck shows just how capable, and functional, a 2500 can be for off-roaders and hunters when outfitted with Mopar and aftermarket parts. Ram says this truck was inspired by its relationship with outdoors outfitter Mossy Oak who helped created the truck’s unique color that’s aptly called “Swamp Thing Green,” which features a blend of camouflage details incorporated into the hood, roof and lower body of the truck.

After a 10 year run of 4-link front suspensions on the 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks, the 2013 1-ton models have converted to an all new radius arm front suspension. October 8, 2013, Auburn Hills, Mich. – It’s SEMA season. Today Chrysler Group LLC released sketches of select Mopar-modified vehicles that are headed for the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas. The show takes place Nov. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
“We developed these Mopar-modified vehicles to inspire ultimate customization,” said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC’s service, parts and customer-care brand. “With catalogs full of proven, quality-tested performance parts and accessories, Mopar is a one-stop shop for factory-engineered personalization.”
MaxTrac Suspension recently added a new application to its extensive lineup of affordable 2WD lift systems. These new spindles fit the 2002-2008 Ram 2500/3500 2WD trucks, achieving 3.5 inches of lift and clearing many 35-inch-tall tire designations.
This simple bolt-on design requires no cutting or welding, keeping install time to less than 3 hours. The one-piece spindles are made from cast ductile-iron and have a black e-coat for corrosion protection. Also included are extended DOT-approved braided steel brake lines, instructions and all necessary hardware. MaxTrac backs the spindles with a limited lifetime warranty.
