Later today at the State Fair of Texas, Ram will announce the updates to its 2017 truck lineup, which includes tweaks to three of its popular models. Ram also is announcing it will offer a new Silver Edition of its Ram 1500 Lone Star, which is its best-selling truck in Texas.

The new covers were designed to fill a void left in aftermarket differential covers after Dodge chose to shift to a 12-bolt American axle 9.25” 235mm front to improve gas mileage.
Auburn Hills, Mich. – FCA US LLC will cease NAFTA-market production of vehicles equipped with non-desiccated ammonium-nitrate Takata air-bag inflators, by next week. Global production is expected to end by mid-September.
Most inflators used in FCA US vehicles employ alternate propellants. Others use desiccant-enhanced ammonium nitrate. Neither is associated with any inflator ruptures of the kind attributed to certain non-desiccated ammonium-nitrate inflators.

The named defendants are FCA US LLC (“FCA US”) and FCA Realty LLC. The dealer plaintiffs are two dealerships of the larger Ed Napleton Automotive Group.

New York – More than 25 Ram trucks will kick off the holiday season in style as they tow all the floats in the 89th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Thursday, Nov. 26, in New York City. Through a newly formed partnership, Ram is the Official Truck of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
After two days of challenging on- and off-road driving, TAWA members voted for the best-performing vehicles and FCA US brands secured eight of 24 awards, the most of any manufacturer at the event.
