The new Rancho competition radius arm suspension system for 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 4WD diesel trucks recently met all requirements of the U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 126 – Electronic Stability Control Systems (FMVSS-126) test. Rancho also has released a new drop bracket sport system and a “Level It” kit for the popular diesel Dodge trucks.

After a 10 year run of 4-link front suspensions on the 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks, the 2013 1-ton models have converted to an all new radius arm front suspension. With this redesign there are a number of challenges that face aftermarket manufacturers developing new products.

October 8, 2013, Auburn Hills, Mich. – It’s SEMA season. Today Chrysler Group LLC released sketches of select Mopar-modified vehicles that are headed for the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas. The show takes place Nov. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

MaxTrac Suspension recently added a new application to its extensive lineup of affordable 2WD lift systems. These new spindles fit the 2002-2008 Ram 2500/3500 2WD trucks, achieving 3.5 inches of lift and clearing many 35-inch-tall tire designations.
This simple bolt-on design requires no cutting or welding, keeping install time to less than 3 hours. The one-piece spindles are made from cast ductile-iron and have a black e-coat for corrosion protection. Also included are extended DOT-approved braided steel brake lines, instructions and all necessary hardware. MaxTrac backs the spindles with a limited lifetime warranty.
