Can-Am recently pulled the cover off of its latest side-by-side, the Maverick X3, unveiling to the off-road world the vehicle it had been teasing over the past month. The new X3 will be offered in three different models, including the base X3, X3 X ds, and the X3 X rs, the last of which will provide up to 24 inches of suspension travel. The Maverick X3 is also headlined by its turbocharged, intercooled triple-cylinder Rotax ACE engine rated to produce 154 horsepower. Can-Am says the Maverick X3 is capable of producing a 0-60 mph time of 4.9 seconds.

Customized with his own personal style and flair, the unique Maverick X rs 1000R Turbo and Maverick MAX X rs 1000R Turbo side-by-sides will be showcased in the coming year to highlight the performance capabilities of the vehicles.

– The Can-Am X-Team kicked off 2016 with a podium sweep in the UTV Turbo class at the Best In The Desert THR Motorsports Parker 250 opener in Arizona. The Can-Am / S3 Racing team of Dustin Jones and Shane Dowden won the class. Logan Gastel and Murray Racing also finished on the Turbo class podium, earning second and third, respectively. Can-Am ATV racer Chris Robinson also posted a class victory in the Expert Ironman (ATV) class.

BRP formally announced some big news today, as it has entered into a new agreement with “Gymkhana” viral video star and rally racer Ken Block. Block, a decorated World Rally Championship racer, X Games medalist and viral video trailblazer, is now an official ambassador for the Can-Am brand. Block and his Hoonigan team are joining with BRP to highlight the performance capabilities of the Can-Am Maverick side-by-side vehicle.
