Andy McMillin will lead the Parker 425 in his Trick Truck this weekend thanks to his qualifying time of 00:07:01.24.
Justin Lofton and Robby Gordon qualified in the second and third spots respectively in the Trick Truck class, while Harley Letner had the fastest Class 1500 car with a time of 00:07:02.953. BJ Baldwin will start the race in fourth in his Trick Truck with fan favorite Rob MacCachren starting in seventh.
Nabbing the pole means that McMillin will get a solo green flag start at around 1:30 pm, with all of the other trucks leaving two at a time.
In Class 6100 trucks, Ryan Millen had the fastest qualifying run with a time of 00:08:00.423. Behind him is Navarro IV and Guglielmo.

Three penalties were given during qualifying, all for hitting cones. The Trick Truck of Craig Potts and the Class 6100 trucks of Justin Peck and Doug Silcock were all assessed a 00:00:15 penalty.
The 2018 running of the event will again once again feature a staggered two-start format beginning Saturday morning, February 3rd. The early morning start will be for open wheel class vehicles and smaller cars or trucks, taking place at an alarming 6:00am. Staging for the teams starts an hour earlier.

This first start will feature a ‘Gran Prix’ finish, which means when the overall leader receives the checkered flag, all others crossing the finish line after that will also receive the checkered regardless of how many laps they have completed.
Early that same afternoon, spectators will see the second start of the day, featuring the Trick Truck class, along with heavier cars and trucks. The two start format is in the interest of safety to separate slower classes from much faster classes.
