Although some of us are stuck at home, following the Baja 1000 through live feeds (and not feeling jealous at all…), Off-Road.com does have boots on the ground in Baja California Sur.

Racers are still leaving the start line at the time of publishing, while the motorcycles in the Pro Moto Unlimited class are already over 600 miles into their race. There has already been one racer airlifted out with a concussion and we’re hearing that another motorcycle rider just snapped a set of handlebars. Safe to say that the Baja 1000 is well underway.

Our Off-Road.com correspondent Valerie Douglas is chasing Jessi Combs, who is driving the entire race from behind the wheel of a Trophy Truck. And every time she snags a little bit of wifi signal, she’s sending us photos from her adventure.
We’ll keep updating this post as new photos come in.
