Sporting a custom camouflage wrap, this Nissan Rogue Trail Warrior Project is heading to the 2017 New York Auto Show.

The special one-off project is one of several unique takes on the Nissan Rogue created exclusively for the New York Auto Show and boasts a custom camouflage body wrap, khaki-painted tracks system and military-style yellow glassworks. Once again, the Japanese automaker turned to Dominator Tracks from American Track Truck, Inc., measuring 48 inches long, 30 inches high and 15 inches wide. The tracks replace the Rogue’s regular wheels and tires, and Nissan modified the suspension and wheel wells to accommodate the system. The rest of the drivetrain components, including the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and Xtronic transmission, are as they come from the factory.

Nissan says the 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque is more than enough for climbing snow banks or sand dunes.

Other accessories on the Rogue include tinted headlights, custom fender flares, ARB Gear Basket, LED lights and Warn 4K winch.

Other vehicles Nissan has announced that will be on display in New York include the Nissan GT-R Track Edition, a Nissan GT-R police car and the Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition.

“This new Rogue Trail Warrior adds a new dimension to family adventures with its snow/sand tracks, gear basket, winch and camo paint,” said Michael Bunce, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc. “If you want to stand out from the crowd during a day on the slopes or the beach, this is the vehicle to take.”
