“I believe the success TORCS has enjoyed with motorcycles has given us the experience necessary to build a successful side-by-side racing series in the state of Texas,” said race director Gil Ramos. “It is time to expand, and we’re excited for CFMOTO to be a part of this expansion.”
The series will include three classes—800cc and under, non-turbo machines, and turbo machines.
“We’re a growing manufacturer,” said CFMOTO USA Marketing Director John Tranby. “When we can partner with a growing organization like TORCS to get people excited about driving side-by-sides, everybody in the community wins.”
The Texas Off Road Championship Series is a 10-race motocross and side-by-side race season in its tenth year. This is the first year side-by-side vehicles will be featured in the series.
