The Mint 400 has released its limited edition 2017 Mint 400 Las Vegas Distillery Moonshine Whiskey recently.  Bottled in a heavy glass bottle and wrapped in a custom Mad Media designed label, the limited edition batch of 500 bottles comes hand numbered by the distiller and carefully packaged in a wood box.  Only 100 of these instant collectors items will be available for purchase to the general public, as the remaining bottles will be gifted to each race team and sponsor of The Great American Off-Road Race.

Las Vegas Distillery was the first distillery in Nevada after Prohibition, which ended in 1933, and their first legal commercial distillation occurred on April 1, 2011, one hundred years after the founding of the City of Las Vegas.  They are the only craft spirits manufacturer in the Las Vegas Valley and all their spirits are made in-house in small batches.

“Sharing a bottle of The Mint 400 Las Vegas Distillery Moonshine Whiskey is the perfect way to celebrate with friends at the finish line.  George at Las Vegas Distillery offers the authenticity of Las Vegas that is essential to The Mint 400. When our good friend and former Mint 400 race director KJ Howe introduced us to George Racz at the distillery, we hit it off,” said Mint 400 CEO, Matt Martelli.

The 100 bottles of moonshine whiskey available to the public will be numbered 401-500 and can be purchased and reserved online here.  Bottles will not be shipped in the mail but be held at Las Vegas Distillery located at 7330 Eastgate Rd, Ste 100, Henderson, Nevada 89011.  You must pick up your bottle in person at the distillery and each purchase includes a special Mint 400 Las Vegas Distillery Tour & Tasting valued at $25.00.  Las Vegas Distillery is the exclusive seller of the 2017 Mint 400 bottle.

“It is an honor to be involved with such a historic event as The Mint 400.  The history of off-road racing is soaked in Las Vegas and creating a limited edition moonshine whiskey for all Mint 400 racers, sponsors and fans is a delight,” said Las Vegas Distillery owner, George Racz.
