Nissan unveiled pricing today for the 2017 Nissan Frontier mid-size pickup. There are no major changes to the 2017 Frontier, although Nissan will add a new S Work Truck Package (that includes spray-in bedliner, bed rail caps, splash guards and rubber floor mats), and the S grade will feature a new body-color rear bumper to replace the outgoing chrome piece. The trucks area already on dealer lots now.
In spite of the fact that the Frontier hasn’t seen a major upgrade for many years, Nissan reports sales are up 47 percent this year. We’re still hoping to see a new version of Nissan’s popular mid-size truck in the next year or two, although Nissan hasn’t made any formal announcements at this point. The 2017 model will carry a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)* of $18,390 USD for the Frontier S King Cab 4×2 I4 5MT.

The 2017 Frontier will be available in both King Cab and Crew Cab body styles and in 4×2 and 4×4 driveline configurations, along with a choice of two engines that includes a 4.0-liter DOHC V6 (261 hp and 281 lb-ft of torque) or a 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine (King Cab only, 152 hp). There are five trim grades available, including Frontier S (4-cylinder and V6), SV, PRO-4X (4×4 only), Desert Runner (4×2 V6 only) and SL (Crew Cab V6 only).
