Fort Mill, S.C. –
Jerett Brooks put an exclamation point on his dominating Pro Lite Unlimited season this weekend at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park by winning the Pro Lite Challenge Cup and the championship.  Brooks started the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series weekend strong as he set fast time for qualifying Saturday which earned him an additional championship point allowing him to win the Pro Lite Unlimited Championship by just starting the feature race.

With the pressure of winning the championship behind him, Brooks finished a strong second in Saturday’s final points race then came out and won the $10,000 Challenge Cup race on Sunday.

A jubilant Brooks was thrilled with his championship season and really felt his General Tires gave him the advantage he needed to perform as well as he did.

“The General Tires performed awesome,” said Brooks.  “I think the tires helped me out a lot this year.  We only had one flat and that was my fault from heavy contact.  I feel like we had the most forward bite (of anyone) this whole year.” admitted Brooks.

Travis Roffler, director of marketing for General Tire, never gets tired of winning.

“We are so proud of Jerett and the dominating season he had this year,” stated Roffler. “Winning seven races in a class that relies on DOT tires means a lot for us.  This makes a very loud statement about the technology that goes into the products that consumers can put directly on their trucks at home.  We congratulate Jerett and his entire team on their great accomplishment,” expressed Roffler.
