– With the recently announced technical and advanced course of the 49th Annual SCORE Baja 1000 potentially requiring an extended length of driving time. Robby Gordon has elected to partner with experienced off-road and rally racer Damen Jefferies of Apple Valley, Calif., to take the reigns of the familiar SPEED Energy/ Toyo Tires/ KMC Wheels No. 77 Trophy Truck for a select portion of the 830-mile course.

The 2016 edition of the most prestigious and most rugged desert race in the world will take place November 15-20, as the loop race will start and finish in ocean side city of Ensenada for the 24th time in the history of the event.

Qualifying for the SCORE Baja 1000 will once again take place in Las Vegas, Nevada for the third straight year in co-junction with the SEMA Show on Tuesday, November 1.
