“With the Can-Am Maverick X3, we set a goal to deliver a clear leader in the sport segment, and our teams worked together and produced a bold vehicle with incredible looks, agility and performance,” said José Boisjoli, BRP’s president and CEO. “The Maverick X3 is the latest addition to our off-road model lineup as we continue to deliver on our promise to introduce a new side-by-side vehicle every six months through 2020.”

The X3 looks to make a huge mark on the sport market with its low seating position in the fully welded chassis that features a 102-inch wheelbase (which Can-Am says is 12 inches longer than the closest competitor), and an Ergo-Lok cockpit that Can-Am says “connects occupants to the vehicle for an enhanced driving experience.” Can-Am will offer up to a 30-inch tire on the Maverick X3.

The Maverick X3 will feature an all-new turbocharged, intercooler triple-cylinder Rotax ACE engine rated to 154-horsepower. Can-Am mates the new triple to a “performance-tuned” transmission. Can-Am claims the engine-trans combo is capable of producing a 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds

Can-Am will, of course, offer a host of features for its new Maverick X3 models, which you can check out here. Be sure to check back for more details on the all-new Can-Am Maverick X3.
