Marcus Hook, PA –  Erik Miller, from Cumberland, MD, won his second King of the Hammers (KOH) race on Friday, February 5th, in Johnson Valley, CA, using Sunoco Race Fuels.  Miller entered his first-ever Ultra 4 race at the 2010 King of the Hammers finishing fifth.  He went on to win the 2012 KOH event, one of the toughest one-day off-road races anywhere combining all out desert racing with rock crawling sections difficult enough to challenge the best competitors’ physical and mechanical skills.  The next few years proved to test his mettle with heartbreaking parts failures, barely missing the win in 2014.  Miller’s never give up attitude paid off this year allowing him to overtake Jason Scherer, the fastest qualifier and the 2009 KOH winner.

“Sunoco powered my 700hp LS-7 to the win at the toughest one day off road race in the world in just over 7 and a half hours never missing a beat the entire time,” commented Miller.  “I have trusted Sunoco to power my car to victory at the toughest one day off road race in the world, King of the Hammers!”

Miller just switched to Sunoco Race Fuels this season after meeting John  Holland, COO, New England Racing Fuels (NERF), Sunoco Performance Products Master Distributor for CT, MA, ME, NH, RI and VT.

“Curt LeDuc introduced us at the Red Bull Frozen RUSH in Maine last month,” Holland stated.  “New England Racing Fuels has a long history in off-racing and we are proud to be associated with a champion like Erik.”
