Rebelle-THUMB-Rally-Off-Road-Female-12-4-15Reno, Nevada – Today, the Rebelle Rally announced a partnership with MAXTRAX recovery devices, the exclusive vehicle recovery track of the rally.  The Rebelle Rally is the first women’s off-road navigation rally raid in the United States and will take place October 13-22, 2016.  Blending the love of driving with the ultimate challenge of precise navigation, the Rebelle tests competitors’ skills over 7 days of competition. It is not a race for speed, but a unique and demanding precision event based on the elements of time, distance, headings, and hidden checkpoints using maps, compass, and roadbook.

The drive will take participants across dirt roads, double tracks, trails and sand dunes of Nevada and California.  In the absence of outside assistance, technology, GPS, cell phones, and support crews, competitors must solve problems of navigation and vehicle management on their own or with the help of competitors.  Having the right tools is critical for success.

“MAXTRAX is an amazing product, easy to use, and should be in the vehicles of all adventurers. Over and over we’ve seen MAXTRAX recovery devices save the day, quickly and efficiently, and we don’t believe women should be on the road without them – whether it’s snow, mud, sand, or anything in between,“ noted Emily Miller, the rally’s founder.

Created in Australia, where demands of remote off-road landscapes push any level of expertise to be completely self-sufficient, MAXTRAX was officially launched in late 2005.  Today, MAXTRAX stands alone as a durable, quick and simple tool for anyone off the beaten path, with a longstanding and trusted history in the four-wheel drive industry as the essential vehicle recovery device.

“MAXTRAX is excited to be supporting the first-ever all-female rally to take place on U.S. soil. We’re all about exploring the unknown and pushing the limits—while knowing you can still get home safely, and few events represent that more than the Rebelle Rally,” said Matt Scott, MAXTRAX’s US agent.
