ELK RIVER, MN
– TORC: The Off-Road Racing Championships and ERX Motorpark in Elk River, MN, are excited to announce a new off-road racing track is currently being built to host the fifth stop of the 2016 TORC series July 16-17. The track is located only 40 minutes from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area providing convenient access for fans and major media outlets.

“We are thrilled to be hosting a TORC Event at ERX in 2016,” said Chris Carlson, co-owner of ERX. “This event aligns perfectly with our vision for ERX, and we’re committed to creating a world-class experience for the drivers and the fans. TORC is recognized as a premier short course off-road truck racing organization and we’re honored to be partnering with them for a national event next year.”

The track at ERX is currently under construction and is sure to be one of the most challenging tracks on the TORC Series with extensive elevation changes, high-banked corners offering multiple race lines and well drained soils for a fast consistent race surface. ERX is committed to providing a unique race track, which will be quickly recognized by racers and fans as a favorite on the TORC Series. Thousands of fans will also enjoy fantastic visibility of the entire track as it will be located in a natural amphitheater.

ERX is one of seven stops on the 2016 TORC season schedule and will include PRO 4WD, PRO 2WD, PRO Light and Sportsman classes.

– April TBA: Charlotte, NC/PRO classes only
– May TBA: Forth Worth, TX/PRO classes only
– June TBA: Chicago, IL
– June 25-26: Crandon, WI (Crandon International Off-Road Raceway)
– July 16-17: Elk River, MN (ERX Motorpark)
– August 13-14: Bark River, MI (Bark River International Raceway)
– September 2-4: Crandon, WI (Crandon International Off-Road Raceway)
