– Tyme Agency, athlete Jerett Brooks put in another solid performance this past weekend in a weather hampered race weekend that saw Round 10 of the series postponed to a later date.

Brooks was the top Pro Lite from the start putting in the fastest lap times in practice on Friday before the weather moved in on Saturday which was race day.  Jerett waited patiently on Saturday to get in the truck for Round 9 of the series however it was not going to happen as the race was postponed until Sunday morning due to rain.

Finally the racing began on Sunday and when the green flag dropped, Brooks put his General Tire/Rigid Industries/GoPro/Maxima Oils backed Pro Lite into the front of the twenty five truck field.  With so much rain from the day before, it made for extremely difficult course conditions that caused an unusually high number of caution flags during the race. Jerett would hold on to the race lead until the 2nd to last lap where he made a small mistake on the tricky course which moved him back to the 3rd position where he would finish the race.

“This weekend was definitely a test of patience and skill for me with the rain delays and how it affected the track conditions.” Says Jerett Brooks “My General Tires are so good they give me the confidence to race under any conditions and feel like I can put my truck on the box!”

Jerett will compete next at Rounds 11 & 12 of the  Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series to be held in Baja, Mexico for the first time. He will look to extend his points lead in the division as he continues his quest for the Pro Lite Championship in 2015.
