Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. (June, 2015) – Since its inception, the Toyota Tundra has managed to do the impossible: beat the Big Three at their own game. The Tundra has always been an unlikely choice when compared to the standard offerings from Ford, Dodge, and GM but its thoughtful engineering and excellent build quality have made it a stand-out for over a decade. Toyota’s V8s have long been legendary for their ability to take whatever abuse their owners could throw at them but their exhaust note was, shall we say, somewhat restrained. That doesn’t mean that they aren’t good sounding engines though, and MagnaFlow is here to prove that by letting them truly breathe.

The 2nd generation Tundra was introduced in 2007 as a replacement for the smaller first generation. With this refreshed second edition, Toyota truly set its sights on the king of the statement, the perennially best-selling F-150. In typical Toyota fashion, they aimed to not just meet the standard of the competition but to blow it completely out of the water. This was especially apparent with the excellent V8 engines that were available as an option. The 4.6 and 5.7 liter engines made respectable power, good torque, and returned great mileage when compared to the V8s from Detroit. Their with their dual overhead cams and 32 valves, they are practically from the future, but where Toyota went wrong was saddling them with a plain sounding exhaust system. Not ones to rest on their laurels, MagnaFlow decided it was time to uncork the Tundra.

The MagnaFlow cat-back exhaust system is designed as a direct bolt-on for 2007-2015 Toyota Tundras with either the 4.6L or 5.7L V8. The MagnaFlow system starts to work its magic through the use of 2.5” stainless steel tubing and feeds into a single 5”x11”x22” polished stainless muffler, the system terminates with two 4” polished stainless tips. This system is fully 50-state legal and like all MagnaFlow exhausts, was developed in-house and dyno tuned to make both power and torque. Also, like all MagnaFlow exhausts, this system gives the vehicle a smooth, deep tone with no annoying highway drone.

Additionally, all MagnaFlow exhaust systems come with a Lifetime Warranty, and each kit includes all the necessary hardware and components for a complete, bolt-on installation. MagnaFlow products are proudly made in the USA. For more information, visit www.magnaflow.com to find a dealer near you.
