The Sahara Desert Challenge (SDC 2015) is the adventure expedition of the moment in West Africa, a challenge “made in Portugal” that leaves no one indifferent around the world, from the smallest to the more adventurous, a perfect trip for anyone who wants to live in the first person, in a “non-competitive”, the sensations of the original African Rally Dakar, who remained on the continent for 29 years.

Much of the adventure takes place in Africa, in some of the large and wild territories of the planet, which itself is synonymous of adventure, with many challenges that call at all times of the organization the best of herself to the preparation of a route that adventurers will follow through a “track” GPS. This year the route was designed with the aim to be the best “low-cost” Dakar ever, with sections that will test riders and machines, always with safety as a premise, a priority of the organization, which has the official support of the tourism authority, police and army of Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal.

The stages also promise many driving challenges, with a level of demand that varies between low and medium, and that will test the skills of participants in different categories: 4×4, all-terrain motorcycles (enduro, trails and big- trails), 4×2, 4×4 campers and trucks 4×4. The “immersion” in the distant territories of Morocco and the journey through some of the most inhospitable regions of the Sahara desert, will make unforgettable the first days of adventure.
