Although there were a handful of nice 2015 Ford F-150 builds at the 2014 SEMA Show, one of the first trucks that caught our attention was this unique, eye-catching blue truck built by Trent’s Trick Upholstery and A.R.E. Accessories. Based on a 2015 Ford F-150 Platinum 4×4 SuperCrew, the Extreme Sports Project Truck certainly garnered its share of attention at the show, as it was selected for the Top 10 Mothers Choice Award at the show.

Mothers nominates some of the best vehicles at each year’s show for its Shine Award at SEMA each year, as the polish, wax and cleaner company has awarded this honor at every SEMA Show since 2001.

“This truck is a prime example of engineering execution, it’s obvious that a lot thought went into it, and while there are a lot of lifted truck here this F-150 has unique styling cues throughout that really got our attention and deserve recognition,” said Jim Holloway, vice president of Mothers.

Trent Van Arsdalen of Trent’s Trick Upholstery was also recognized when partnering with A.R.E. for its 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Wounded Warriors Project at last year’s show. For this year’s truck, he was pleased to receive the recognition. “Receiving this award is a great finishing touch for this collaborative effort, and we are proud to have crated a special truck that stood out from the dozen of other great project vehicles at SEMA.”
