Driven Experience Driven to Fight Cancer trophy truck is proud to be participating in the first ever SCORE Baja 1000 Experience at the 2014 SEMA Show.  Drivers Andrew Hendricks, Jeff Humberson and Chuck Dempsey will be at the SMEA show SCORE Experience signing autographs as they prepare for the 47th annual Tecate SCORE Baja 1000.

In addition, the American Cancer Society will be at the Driven Experiences booth raising awareness and funds for the Driven To Fight Cancer Campaign.  If you are not at the show, you can participate with online support at www.cattlebaronsball.com/DTFC.

“The setup here at the SEMA show is amazing.  We are really excited to have the Driven Experiences booth with our trucks, a Bentley and a Helicopter.  That is one of the features of Gateways Canyons that makes us so unique.  We like to explore on the dirt, asphalt and in the air; and we know you do to,” said Chuck Dempsey, Driven Experiences Race Director.  “We are excited at the turnout in this new SCORE area and the enthusiasm of those coming up in support of the Driven to Fight Cancer campaign. We sincerely appreciate everyone’s donations and time to help spread the message.”

“We added some additional incentives to help boost our commitment to this program.  In every race there is a podium of three winners where luck played a solid role in getting them there.  So we gathered three awesome prizes to give away in a random email drawing after the race when the official Baja 1000 winners are announced,” explained Dempsey.  “Anyone who donates via the Driven to Fight Cancer program with an email address will be entered to win one of three prizes: The grand prize will be a two-day stay at Gateway Canyons Resort spending one day at the Driven Experiences school, and a second day enjoying the beautiful Colorado scenery after choosing between one of the fast and classy cars in the Driven Rentals program.  The second email randomly picked will win a one-day Driven Experiences school opportunity, and the third email randomly picked will receive a Go-Pro Hero4 camera.  All you have to do to enter is donate through our program online, or at an event, and opt into winning with your email address.”

Opportunities to pledge mileage donations can be placed through the Baja 1000 race on November 14th at www.cattlebaronsball.com/DTFC.  In the meantime, the Driven to Fight Cancer Trophy Truck has been on display raising awareness and money at the IMEX show in Las Vegas October 14th-16th, the Cattle Baron’s Ball in Dallas, Texas on October 18th and now at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas November 4th-7th with qualifying for the SCORE Baja 1000 taking place on Tuesday November 5th in Las Vegas, Nevada.  November 12th kicks off the week of SCORE Baja 1000 in Ensenada, Mexico.  This will be a grueling race that Andrew Hendricks, Jeff Humberson and Chuck Dempsey will be teaming to win in the most experienced class in off-road desert racing.  Race and event tracking will be available through www.facebook.com/drivenexperiences.

“The American Cancer Society is ecstatic to work with Driven to Fight Cancer and Driven Experiences.  Together, we look forward to finishing the fight against cancer and celebrating more birthdays,” said Christi Erickson, vice president of corporate and distinguished partners at the American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society is a global grassroots force of more than three million volunteers saving lives and fighting for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community. As the largest voluntary health organization, the Society’s efforts have contributed to a 20 percent decline in cancer death rates in the U.S. since 1991, and a 50 percent drop in smoking rates. Thanks in part to our progress nearly 14 million Americans who have had cancer and countless more who have avoided it will celebrate more birthdays this year. As we celebrate more than 100 years of service, we’re determined to finish the fight against cancer. We’re finding cures as the nation’s largest private, not-for-profit investor in cancer research, ensuring people facing cancer have the help they need and continuing the fight for access to quality health care, lifesaving screenings, clean air, and more.
