Monster-Energy-Cup-8-15-13AURORA, Ill. – Feld Motor Sports® announced today that the pre-race press conference and the afternoon qualifying sessions of the Monster Energy Cup taking place at Las Vegas’ Sam Boyd Stadium on October 18 will be streamed live on www.MonsterEnergyCup.com/SupercrossLive.

The Monster Energy Cup pre-race press conference featuring the world’s top supercross riders Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey, Davi Millsaps, Eli Tomac, Blake Baggett, Justin Barcia, and Trey Canard will stream live Friday, October 17 at 3:00 p.m. ET / Noon PT. In addition, Zac Commans from the Amateur All-Star Class and Chase Sexton from the Super-Mini Class will be in attendance. The afternoon qualifying sessions on race day will be streamed live on Saturday at 3:50 p.m. ET/12:50 p.m. PT.

Jim Holley, a former World Supercross Champion, and Kevin Barnett, two-time Olympian, of the Supercross Live® team will be providing commentary throughout Saturday’s qualifying sessions. Original Supercross Live content will be available all weekend long including track walk interviews, behind the scenes action, and podium interviews at the end of the evening. All videos will be available on the Monster Energy Cup website and social media pages.

The 2014 Monster Energy Cup features an all-new track design inspired by 5-time Monster Energy Supercross Champion Ricky Carmichael. The Carmichael-inspired track design will consist of supercross and motocross obstacles unlike any other racetrack design in the world. The Monster Energy Cup posts a $250,000 purse with the winner walking away with a $100,000 check, and any rider that wins all three Main Events will take home $1 million.

The Monster Energy Cup airs LIVE on FOX Sports 2 on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 9:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT and the following day, FOX Sports 1, will re-air the entire race at 1:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. PT on Sunday, October 19. A week later, Sunday, October 26,  FOX broadcast network offers a 90-minute Monster Energy Cup encore special following NFL football in most markets, while preceding football in others (check local listings).
