POMONA, Calif. – The 2014 Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo powered by General Tire is set to partner with Red Bull Straight Rhythm, an innovative take on supercross, for a full weekend of motorsports action at Fairplex, in Pomona, Calif. Southern California’s largest off-roading event will take place Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, featuring two full days of off-road action including off-road vehicle ride alongs, ATV/UTV ride and drives, an RC test track, celebrity autograph sessions, off-road racing demos and more. On Saturday afternoon, attendees are invited to head over to the adjacent Auto Club Raceway to witness the evolution of supercross racing at Red Bull Straight Rhythm.

Since it’s inception in 2013, Red Bull Straight Rhythm has taken the racing world by storm. Red Bull Straight Rhythm will feature 32 riders in a head-to-head, best-of-three bracket format on an evolved supercross track with no turns – just a half-mile long straight rhythm section. By isolating the whoops, triples, doubles, table tops and step on/offs, riders must focus entirely on reading the terrain and judging their speed for precise distance and control. Red Bull Straight Rhythm will offer a $10 discount to attendees that show their Off-Road Expo ticket at the Red Bull Straight Rhythm box office on Saturday, October 4, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

New this year, the Off-Road Expo will host on-site Red Bull motocross trials demonstrations with 10-time AMA National Trials Champion Geoff Aaron performing throughout the weekend. Fans will also have the chance to meet several Red Bull athletes at the trials course on Saturday, from 12:45 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. including Geoff Aaron, Tarah Geiger, Mike Day, Bryce Menzies, Ivan Ramirez, Aaron Colton and Kendall Norman.
