IRVINE, Cal.
– Mountain Motorsports has three Georgia locations that are getting heavily involved with the upcoming GEICO AMA EnduroCross round in Duluth, just outside of Atlanta. Tickets will be on sale at the Marietta, Conyers and Lithia Springs locations and you will see a big display of Kawasaki models at the event.

Dustin Farthing, who has won 17 national and world championships in Personal Watercraft racing, is one of the Mountain Motorsports co-owners and had this to say about their involvement with EnduroCross. “This is such a kick ass sport and we are pumped to have EnduroCross visit our part of the country. So we can’t wait watch the best off-road riders in the world race inside the Gwinnett Center”.

Check out the Mountain Motorsports stores in Marietta, Conyers, Lithia Springs or go to www.mmsmarietta.com, www.mmsconyers.com, www.mmslithiasprings.com.

Heading into Atlanta, only three points separate the top three riders in the championship. Beta USA’s Cody Webb holds the red plate with a one point lead over JCR Honda’s Colton Haaker and KTM’s Taddy Blazusiak is lurking in third. While these three riders have dominated the series so far, there are several other top riders that have been honing their skills over the summer break. And with the East Coast swing, FMF KTM’s Kailub Russell will be racing his first ever EnduroCross event along with several other top eastern riders looking to make their mark.

The Atlanta round, hosted at the air-conditioned The Arena at Gwinnett Center on Saturday, August 23rd, will feature an awesome track with rocks, logs, a pond and some of the craziest obstacles you could ever image riding over. Get your tickets now!

Not a pro and think you can tame the EnduroCross obstacles? Then come on out and compete in the Open Amateur, Vet 35+ or TrialsCross classes. EnduroCross veteran Destry Abbott will host a “Rookies” training session on Friday night before the event to provide one hour of track time and tips for any support class rider that has never made an EnduroCross main event. Don’t miss it!
