Women-MX-Championship-7-1-14MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – MX Sports Pro Racing, along with the AMA and organizers of the Baja Brawl, announced today a change in the Women’s Motocross (WMX) Championship schedule. Running in conjunction with the 13th Annual AMA Baja Brawl Championship in Millington, Michigan, round five of the WMX Championship has been moved up one day to take place on Saturday, Aug. 30.

The Baja Brawl Championship begins on Friday, Aug. 29 and runs through Monday, Sept. 1, with the exception of the unique WMX race schedule. Taking place solely on Saturday, the WMX race format will consist of two (2) motos of 15 minutes plus one (1) lap each.

All other classes at the Baja Brawl will adhere to a three-moto format, which will run over the course of three days. In addition to the WMX class, the Baja Brawl is offering the Women (12 & Up) class, as well as Girls (9-15) class, both of which will follow a three-moto format.

For WMX participants only staying for Saturday’s race, please present your WMX credential at the entry gate to avoid getting charged the weekend fee.

Non-WMX racers can pre-enter online or register at the event. Pre-entry discounts are offered for those who are staying the entire weekend. For more information on the Baja Brawl event, please visit their official website HERE.
