San Bernardino, CA
– In a season that few would call anything less than amazing, Rigid Industries Torture Team member Kyle LeDuc continued his winning streak taking his seventh and eighth consecutive victories in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Pro-4 class. It has been anything but easy for Kyle but when it counts, he’s been the first to the checkered flag, again and again.

Rounds 7 and 8 at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, Ca. were more of the same with one exception; the competition is getting fed up with Kyle’s domination. Series sponsor LoanMart put up a $5000 dollar bounty on Kyle. Whoever beat Kyle in rounds 7 or 8 would get $2500 dollars cash for each round. If Kyle went undefeated, he would take the cash. When the green flag dropped each night, Carl Renezeder and the rest of the Pro-4 field was ready to do whatever it took to beat Kyle but to no avail.

Kyle was driving impeccably, pivoting beautifully in the corners and flicking it sideways off the jumps to set-up for the turns. The crowd was going wild watching Kyle master the Glen Helen course. “This was a big weekend for me and the team,” said Kyle, “They tried to put pressure on us with a bounty but we answered with a win in both rounds. We took the bounty home with us and increased our points lead!”

Rigid Industries Torture Team member Bryce Menzies put on quite a show for the fans in Pro-2. Friday nights round 9 saw an intense battle for the lead with Bryce right in the mix. After a re-start, he had contact with Rob MacCachren that dropped Rob to the back of the pack. Bryce then squeezed past Carl Renezeder to take the second spot and set out after Brian Deegan for the lead. Unfortunately Lucas Oil officials did not appreciate Bryce’s aggressive driving and gave him a black flag after the race that dropped him a lap down in the standings.

In round 10, Bryce would not be denied. His solution to the black flag the night before was to leave the rest of the field behind; running alone out front. He passed Rigid Industries Torture Team Member Jeremy McGrath for the lead on lap 4 and never looked back. Jeremy held off Deegan and MacCachren to finish second place. It was Bryce’s third win of the season.

In Pro Lite competition, Rigid Industries Torture Team racers won both nights. RJ Anderson led wire-to-wire Friday night, (round 9), taking the win with fellow Torture Team members Casey Currie in second and Kyle Hart in third for a perfect sweep of the podium. Torture Team member Brandon Arthur has been making steady progress as a rookie in the Pro Lite class.

Maybe it was the huge Rigid Industries logo across his bright yellow hood that gave him the luck he needed to break out and grab his first Pro Lite win. He was fast all weekend at Glen Helen running quick in practice and then sharing the front row with teammate RJ Anderson after qualifying for round 10. He and RJ battled throughout the race with Brandon running the fastest Pro Lite lap of the weekend on his way to the victory. It’s the first time this season that a rookie has won in the ultra-competitive Pro Lite class. RJ held off the rest of the hard chargers in the field to secure second place on the podium.

The next rounds of Lucas Oil Off Road Racing will be at the Wild West Motorsports Park in Sparks, NV. August 22-23. It will be another wild one at Wild West Motorsports Park for the Rigid Industries Torture Team. Kyle LeDuc will be trying to keep his amazing streak alive and the rest of the team will be going door to door to continue outshining their competition.
