Women-MX-Championship-7-1-14The Monster Energy Mammoth Mountain Motocross took place this weekend in the Sierra Nevada mountains of central California and hosted Round 4 of the Women’s Motocross Championship series.

Motorcycle Superstore’s Mackenzie Tricker continued her domination of the series with two Moto wins and the overall victory.

“I really enjoyed this race, the atmosphere was amazing and it was in such a cool place.
Everything ran smoothly all weekend; I rode the B class on Saturday for track time and then WMX on Sunday.

Mackenzie-WMX-Mammoth-7-1-14“I got the holeshot in both Motos and led from start to finish in both. The track got rough in Moto 2 and slick so I was cautious in some sections, but I was happy with my bike and I really enjoyed the track. It is definitely in my top five of favorite tracks! I already can’t wait for next year!”

Tricker now has a 49 point lead on the series going into Round 5 which takes place on August 31 at the Baja Brawl in Millington, MI.

Next up for Mackenzie is the Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Motocross Championship which starts July 27.

“I’m in a good spot at the moment,” she said. “Everything’s going great and I feel good, I just need to keep working on getting better in every possible way.”
