As the The Mint 400 quickly approaches, FOX is preparing to debut their 40 year anniversary paint scheme on the #76 Trophy Truck of Jesse Jones. In 1974 Bob Fox designed and produced his first FOX motocross air shock. The purpose of the design was to get more out of the bike and gain a competitive advantage. Two short years later, Kent Howerton won the 500cc National Motocross Championship on FOX AirShox.

Over the last 40 years, FOX has continued his legacy by redefining ride dynamics for mountain bikes, side-by-sides, on- and off-road vehicles and trucks, ATV’s, snowmobiles and motorcycles. Behind the brand are athletes that utilize FOX in their specific sport, off-road racing is one sport that shows just how tough these FOX shocks are and Jesse Jones is the driver that pushes them to their limits.

FOX and Jones went head to head with the Nevada desert last year in the 2013 Mint 400. A historic and brutal race that is one of the top races to compete in. After getting stripped of a win late in the race last year, Jesse is back for redemption in 2014.

“We were so close to the win last year that we could taste it.” Stated Jones. “This years race will be just as tough but we are prepared to take what comes at us and keep pushing forward. This new FOX 40 year scheme is going to look great on the truck and you won’t be able to miss us coming by you at 100mph ”

Combined efforts of Jones and Menzies Motorsports will be campaigning Jones’ truck along with, Bryce Menzies and new to the Mint 400, Travis Pastrana. Pastrana will be getting behind the wheel of Jones’ backup truck for the race.

“You can’t go wrong with having the Menzies Motorsports team on your side. They have the results to prove they know what they are doing, their pit stops are fast and that is key to winning a race.” Said Jones.

Along with the BITD Mint 400, Jones will also be racing the BITD Vegas To Reno, SCORE Baja 500 and SCORE Baja 1000.
