Bob Wayne and his merry band of Outlaw Carnies are headed to the 2014 General Tire Mint 400, presented by Polaris, to headline an evening of music and libations! This is the first-ever musical act to join the world famous Mint 400 race and festivities, which are expected to draw crowds in excess of forty thousand throughout the week.
Bob Wayne is well known for his wild shows and take-no-prisoners style of punk rock American country music. Wayne and his Outlaw Carnies will perform at the “KMC Wheels Pit Crew Party” at the Fremont Country Club Thursday March 13th at 10pm, immediately following the “KMC Wheels Pit Crew Challenge”. The show is open to all with a $10 cover. Backstage Bar & Billiards (next door) will host the “General Tire Mint 400 VIP Party” by invitation only.
“Including music acts in the Mint 400 off road festival experience has been on our short list for a few years now”, said Mint 400 COO Joshua Martelli. “Bob Wayne is a perfect fit for our off road family. It’s basically high-speed country music with a punk rock attitude. We’re thrilled to have him!”
Bob Wayne is currently on a worldwide tour in support of his new album “Till the Wheels Fall Off”, the perfect title to accompany Americas oldest and most challenging off road race. The tour has him traveling from Dunellen, New Jersey all the way to Paris, France and all points in between. Visit www.bobwayne.org for more details.
