Brandon Arthur is assembling a formidable team to compete in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series in 2014. The final stages of construction on his HRT Motorsports / Pro Traffic Services / Competitive Metals / Rigid Industries LED Lighting Prolite truck is only days away. Some would argue the Prolite class is the most competitive on the track. It’s stacked with talent; some from the same ranks where Brandon cut his teeth at age 11. Brandon began his racing career in a Trophy Kart winning a Rookie of the Year award and a Championship title.

Brandon is eager to bang fenders with some of those same drivers but this time it won’t be in a tiny Trophy Kart. Brandon’s Prolite truck is a serious machine that shows off his excellent fabrication skills and uses the finest components from Magnaflow, Aeromotive Fuel Systems, Trailready Beadlocks, FOX Racing Shox, Wirefab, Summers Brothers, and ECP Powder Coating. The vital fluids are taken care of by F&L Racing Fuels and Maxima Racing Oils. His Dodge Dakota FiberwerX body panels are covered in striking graphics by Bink Designs and Mastercraft Safety Equipment assures his safety.

“I am excited to get back to short course racing,” says Brandon, “I love the desert and I will be running some events in the Trophy Truck this year but short course is so competitive, that’s where I want to be. Desert racing is about speed and patience. Short Course is door to door with no room for mistakes. It’s more intense and there are a lot of heavy hitters but I have a great group of people on board; I’m anxious to get back on the track.”

Brandon will have to maintain his truck during the season but unlike most of his competition, he will have to maintain his grades as well. Brandon will be finishing his senior year in high school during part of the season. Fortunately, he is as good a student of learning as he is of racing. It’s not a question of being too challenged; it will be whether this hot young driver will be challenged enough. Look for Brandon to be in the thick of things at the drop of the green flag. He is racing his Trophy Truck at the SNORE Battle at Primm this weekend in Primm, Nevada then he will make his return to short course racing March 22 – 23 at Wild Horse Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona at the opening rounds of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.
