Argonne, WI
– As the off-season progresses, Fannin Motorsports continues to prepare the race truck for the 2014 race season. At the same time, Jeff and his family are working on partnerships that will bring awareness to charitable causes that are close to the team. The upcoming TORC Sportsman race season will see Fannin Motorsports working to raise donations for the Ronald McDonald House of Marshfield, WI, the Wounded Warrior Project, and Prayers for Kolton.

Last year The Ronald McDonald House of Marshfield gave Jeff and his wife Lindsey a place to stay when the birth of their son Chase came several weeks early. The House also was the part time home of the Ouellette family while they were in Marshfield for the medical procedures needed for Kolton after injuries.  The team will donate all of its winnings from the Saturday race at the Spring Crandon event (Round 3, June 28) to this great charity.

The team is also saying thanks to all the military men and women that have been wounded while  serving their country. Without the efforts of the military many things Americans take for granted would not be possible. All of the team’s winnings from the Sunday race at the Spring Crandon event (Round 4, June 29) will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Fannin Motorsports is also distributing “Prayers of Kolton” wrist bands for a five dollar donation to raise funds for the Ouellette family as they care for the needs of two-year old Kolton, a victim of child abuse.

“Last year was a very humbling experience,” remarked Jeff Fannin. “Whether it was the help and generosity of so many to help us have the season we did or the help of charities like the RMH while dealing with a premature baby in the hospital. It made me feel very indebted to someone or something so this is our way of giving back.

“Once I ran this idea past Dad (team owner),” Fannin added “he was very excited and mentioned that he also wanted to do something for the Wounded Warrior Project. This charity is set up for our real heroes and those that gave real sacrifices for our country. With my sister (Amanda Tokarczyk) and brother in law (Jesse Tokarczyk) both in the Air Force, we felt this was also a cause we wanted to raise awareness for. Our team, whether it’s family or friends, is a close knit group, and we hope our race team can bring awareness as well as donations to the three groups that are in our hearts.”

Once again Fannin Motorsports would like to thank their sponsors for a very rewarding 2013 race season, including: Fannin Plumbing, Able Distributing, T & S Trucking, Denny’s Auto Body, J & H Transmission, Main St. Ed’s, Boutwell Design, & Alpine Images.
