Racers tackled the qualifying course yesterday for the 2014 King of the Hammers, with over 30 racers finishing the course to earn starting positions for Friday’s race. Racers will continue to qualify today on the course, though times for the “power hour” today with many of the sport’s big-name racers is still uncertain.

Tom Wayes posted the fastest time on the course yesterday just under three minutes at 2:58.91. The next fastest racer was 2012 KOH Champion Erik Miller with a time of 2 minutes and 58.97 seconds. Rounding out the top three racers was Marcos Gomez at 3 minutes and 0.13 seconds.
