Climb-2-2-King-of-Motos-2-2-14
We know that Cody Webb crossed the finish line first, and it appears unofficially that he’s won the 2014 King of the Motos from here in Johnson Valley, California, but we’re still waiting on official results from today’s race.

In the meantime, check out some photos highlights of today’s action. Event organizers broke up today’s competition into two separate races, with the first race starting at 7 a.m. and highlighting difficult climbs matched with more high-speed sections. If racers completed that first section in time, a second race was started at noon with a Le-Mans-style start that forced racers up through Chocolate Thunder and a  number of the Hammers, pushing racers through more challenging climbs and crawling sections.

Check back shortly for a full race recap one results become officials, and check on our King of the Hammers event page for more information and coverage of this week’s events.
