In addition to 48 shows in 2013 Dirt LiveHD provided live coverage from the three SCORE Baja race weeks, the massive SCORE exhibit at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo, the 2013 SCORE Awards Night and the three HDRA race weeks.

The 2014 season of Dirt LiveHD will include numerous on-site interviews in addition to the shows that like tonight will be broadcast from the SCORE broadcast studios in El Cajon, Calif., just east of San Diego.

Grandsons of the late great SCORE racer and San Diego legend Corky McMillin and sons of multi-time SCORE champion racer and prominent San Diego developer Mark McMillin, Dan and Luke McMillin have richly carried on the McMillin family racing tradition and both already have SCORE class season point championships on their racing resumes.

Dan McMillin won the SCORE Class1/2-1600 season point championship in 2007 after finishing second in the class in the 2006 season. He was 10th in Class 1/2-1600 points in 2009 before moving up to the unlimited Class 1 for the 2010 and 2011 seasons. In 2010 he finished second in points and was sixth in 2011.  Moving up to the No. 23 Mark Racing Ford F-150 the last two seasons, Dan McMillin was 10th in points in 2012 and eighth in the featured SCORE racing division in 2013.

Luke McMillin launched his official SCORE racing career in 2010 by winning SCORE Rookie of the Year honors on the way to the SCORE Class 1/2-1600 season point title. He repeated as SCORE Class 1/2-1600 point champ in 2011 before moving up to the unlimited Class 1 in 2012, finishing fourth in points while earning three Class 1 wins along the way.

After starting 2013 in Class 1 with a third place finish in the Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250, Luke McMillin got the opportunity to race for Mark Weyhrich in SCORE Trophy Truck at the Tecate SCORE Baja 500 and finished a very respectable 13th out of 37 starters in the race. In last year’s Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 where he raced with his older brother Dan, finishing an even more impressive fifth out of 31 starters.

To start the 2014 SCORE World Desert Championship season, both Dan and Luke will be drivers of record in the marquee SCORE Trophy Truck division for high-tech, 850-horsepower unlimited production trucks. Dan will pilot the No. 23 Mark Racing Ford F-150 while Luke will debut the No. 83 Mark Racing Ford F-150. Dan’s SCORE Trophy Truck was built by Geiser Brothers with a Patton racing engine while Luke’s new truck was built by Racer Engineering with a Kroyer racing engine.

Among the motorcycle competitors in SCORE desert racing, Udall is recognized as one of the very top riders having won the No. 1X plate for the last three consecutive years as part of the factory-supported Honda team of Johnny Campbell Racing.

Samuels is still relatively new to SCORE desert racing and finished fifth and sixth on his own team in the first two SCORE races of 2013 in Class 22 for open pro motorcycles.  For the season-ending Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, Samuels joined Udall, Tim Weigand and David Kamo to give Honda it’s 17th consecutive victory and 24th overall in the legendary race.

With the JCR team moving to an exclusive US race schedule for the 2014 season, Udall and Samuels have announced plans to form their own team and carry the 1X plate into the six-race 2014 SCORE World Desert Championship season.

The high definition shows also includes numerous award-winning video highlight packages, most produced by Mexico’s Cactus Films or San Diego’s Tempt Media.

Dirt LiveHD also goes on-site live with expanded event coverage during SCORE events. Live event coverage in 2014 will include the entire six-race 2014 SCORE World Desert Championship series of three races in the United States and three in Baja California, Mexico.  The first event of the inaugural SCORE World Desert Championship series will be the 28th annual Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250 to be held Feb. 27 to March 2 in San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico.
