Colorado Springs, CO
– The new year is here and the 2014 race season is just around the corner for Lovell Racing. The Colorado Springs based race team will focus on recapturing the TORC Pro-Light Championship along with key partners AMSOIL, Torchmate CNC Cutting Systems, and BFGoodrich Tires.

“To be successful in racing you must set a goal and be completely dedicated to it,” said Brad Lovell, “For us that goal is winning in TORC and bringing home another championship.” The 2012 champion will chase the 7-race series across the country including new venues in Sturgis SD, St. Louis MO, and a return to Charlotte NC. TORC will also return to its roots in legendary Crandon, WI and Bark River, MI. “Crandon feels like a summer home and along with Bark River are my favorite stops in the schedule. The atmosphere up there is second none.”

Lovell Racing is more than short course and the team will depart at the end of the month for the California desert and ever-growing King of the Hammers. Brother’s Brad and Roger Lovell will tackle the brutal endurance race twice this year over two days in both the 4400 (Unlimited) and 4800 (Legends) divisions. Brad added, “We go out to race, and when the opportunity came up to do more racing, it wasn’t even a question. We have the right people to pull this off and everyone is pumped up to take on the challenge.”

The brothers will stay busy with select Ultra 4, Dirt Riot, and CHCA events during the year. “Last year Roger and I teamed up for the Dirt Riot Mountain Series and had a great time. We look forward to that and more.”
