Monster-Energy-Cup-Track-9-27-13AURORA, Ill.  – Feld Motor Sports announced today that Toyota has returned as the official holeshot sponsor of the Monster Energy Cup that will take place tomorrow night at Sam Boyd Stadium.

Toyota has been the official vehicle sponsor of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, for the past 10 years and continues its support of the sport at the Monster Energy Cup by offering the riders a chance to own the new 2014 Tundra by winning the holeshot in all three Main Events Saturday night.

“Feld Motor Sports is very excited that Toyota has returned to sponsor the Monster Energy Cup for the second year in a row,” said Todd Jendro, vice president of two wheel operations, Feld Motor Sports. “Their commitment to the motorsports industry is like none other and we appreciate their returning commitment to the Monster Energy Cup year after year.”

Toyota will also be offering fans the opportunity to test out the all new 2014 Tundra in the pits at the Toyota Drive Center. Fans will be able to get behind the wheel of the new Tundra in a custom-designed off-road course featuring new obstacles and challenges designed to highlight Toyota’s legendary commitment to quality, durability, reliability and safety. Drivers’ skills will be put to the test on a giant see-saw, burnout zone, back up challenge, side tilts and more. All participants will be entered into a sweepstakes for chances to win prizes and product specialists will be on site all day to answer any questions.

“We’re excited for Monster Energy Cup fans to drive the new 2014 Tundra on our custom course. We wanted to bring a new element to the Monster Energy Cup this year, and I’m sure fans will be happy with the experience we have planned,” said Jim Baudino, Engagement Marketing Manager, Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.

The Monster Energy Cup airs LIVE on recently launched FOX Sports 2 on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 9:00 p.m. ET., and the following day, FOX Sports 1, will re-air the entire race at 1:00 p.m. ET. The 2013 Monster Energy Cup features an all-new track design inspired by 15-time AMA National Champion Ricky Carmichael. The Carmichael-inspired track design will consist of supercross and motocross obstacles unlike any other racetrack design in the world. The Monster Energy Cup posts a $250,000 purse with the winner walking away with a $100,000 check, and any rider that wins all three Main Events will take home $1 million.
