SCORE-Logo-12-20-11SAN DIEGO — Taking a timeout from their regular work behind the cameras of their long-running, award-winning reality TV show ‘COPS’, SoCal’s John Langley and his sons Morgan and Zak Langley will be shining in the SCORE spotlight during Tuesday’s Dirt LiveHD at 7 p.m. (PT) during the increasingly-popular internet show. Airing in High Definition on www.score-international.com, the show will air from its broadcast home at the SCORE International tech shop in El Cajon, Calif., just east of San Diego.

John Langley, 70, of Santa Monica, Calif., and his sons Morgan and Zak lead the COPS Racing Team that features the No. 50 Ford F-150 SCORE Trophy Truck, the No. 111 Chevy-powered Racer unlimited Class 1 open-wheel race vehicle and the No. 1011 SCORE Class 10 Racer-Honda.

Roger Norman’s Dirt Live one-hour show is broadcast live weekly and the show is anchored around Norman’s two desert racing series, the SCORE Desert Series and the High Desert Racing Association as well as the new bonus points championship purse program he has developed called the World Championship of Desert Racing. All live events, this will be the 36th weekly Dirt LiveHD episode to air. Replays of previous Dirt LiveHD shows are kept in an electronic library on the dirtlive.com website.

John Langley, one of only two SCORE racers who have their own star on the fabled Hollywood Walk of Fame, started desert racing when he was 66 years young and in 2010 he and his eldest son Morgan won two races on the way to winning the SCORE Class 4 season point championship.  In 2009, the COPS Racing Team won the unlimited Class 1 in the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 with Jerry Penhall and Dan Martin as the drivers.

In this year’s SCORE Desert Series, John and his son Morgan race together in Class 10 and Zak Langley is driver of record in the COPS Racing Team SCORE Trophy Truck.

Starting in 1989, Langley Productions reality show ‘COPS’ began airing on the FOX network.  Starting its 26th season this past Saturday, this will be the first year that the show will air on Spike TV.

Produced in 2011 by Langley Productions, Road Warriors-SCORE Baja 500 in 3D and HD  is available on NetFlix and in DVD.

Also on Tuesday night’s show, SCORE Tech co-director Jake Velasco will present another special Tech Tips segment. This week Velasco will provide information regarding making hoses for desert race vehicles.

Dirt LiveHD also goes on-site live with expanded event coverage during SCORE and HDRA race weeks and will next be on-site to cover the legendary 46th Annual Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 on Nov. 13-17 that will start and finish in Ensenada, Mexico.
