SCORE-Logo-8-3-11RENO, Nev. — It’s all about Reno again this week as Reno desert racer Jim Anderson, Reno’s Eldorado Hotel Casino, the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame in Reno and next week’s Dirt Live Off-Road Expo in Reno will all be featured during Tuesday’s airing of Roger Norman’s Dirt LiveHD weekly Internet broadcast at 7 p.m. Pacific Time. Airing in High Definition on www.score-international.com, the show is in its second of three weeks airing from Reno, Nev., before returning to its broadcast home at the SCORE International tech shop in San Diego starting Tuesday, July 16.

Anderson is a veteran SCORE desert racer while representing the Eldorado resort will be Rick Murdock, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing while spokesperson for ORMHOF will be museum administrator Shelby Hall.

Murdock will be commenting on the Eldorado’s support of and participation in both the Diver Live Off-Road Expo and upcoming Eldorado HDRA Reno 500 to be held July 13-14 at the Tahoe Reno Motorplex. Murdock has been part of the Eldorado staff since 1981 and is a well-respected individual in the tourism industry of Northern Nevada.

Hall, a third-generation desert racer herself, oversees the day-to-day activity of the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame that is located in the famed Harrah’s National Automobile Museum in downtown Reno. Hall was one of the three drivers on the team in last November’s 46th Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 that saw her grandfather, the legendary Rod Hall, increase his all-time record class wins in the granddaddy of all desert races to 22.

Roger Norman’s Dirt Live one-hour show is broadcast live weekly and the show is anchored around Norman’s two desert racing series, the SCORE Desert Series and the High Desert Racing Association as well as the new bonus points championship purse program he has developed called the World Championship of Desert Racing. All live events, this will be the 25th weekly Dirt LiveHD episode to air.

Dirt Live also goes on-site live with expanded event coverage during SCORE and HDRA race weekends and will next be covering the Dirt Live Off-Road Expo in downtown Reno, Nev. (July 10-12) and the Eldorado HDRA Reno 500 desert race just outside of Reno on July 12-14.

Anderson, who finished in third place in the SCORE season point standings with one race win in Class 5 in 2011, has switched to Class 10 and a new Chevy-powered Alumi Craft desert race car this year, placing 12th out of 21 starters in the Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250 in March with his teammate and second driver Brian Burgess, Menifee, Calif.

Unable to race in this year’s Eldorado HDRA Reno 500, Anderson and his Big O Tires has posted a $1,250 bonus for Class 10 in this year’s race. Of the total, $250 will go to the fastest qualifier in Class 10 while the remaining $1,000 will go to the Class 10 winner.

A special tech tips segment on this week’s show from Reno will feature Las Vegas Trophy Truck racer and noted mechanic T.J. Flores who will be going in detail regarding bolt selection.

Another feature on the weekly Dirt LiveHD shows is the video of the week which this week will be a recap of Mike Mitchell’s winning ride in last year’s inaugural HDRA Fireworks 500 in Reno.
