New Stereo with Aux. Input
Why in the world does dad need a new stereo, you ask? His CD player works just fine in the truck, you say. CD players are not ideal for off-roading, as listening to CDs on the trail leads to skipping and potential damage to the CD and stereo.  The solution is simple – find an inexpensive new head unit with an auxiliary input so dad can plug in his smart phone or iPod and listen to the music on there. There are a number of options online, such as this JVC unit on Amazon for $63.33 (keep in mind you’ll have to pay for installation).

You’ll have to double check that the head unit will operate with his vehicle, but a call to your local stereo shop should get you the answer you need.
