Las Vegas, NV – The HDRA series heads to Ridgecrest, California April 5-7 for the King Shocks 250. This will be the first time some of the HDRA regulars, like BJ Baldwin, will have a chance to take on the sandy washes and boulder strewn landscape that Ridgecrest is known for.
“Pre-race testing of our Monster Energy Toyo Tires Rigid Industries Trophy Truck went very well,” said BJ, “I’m anxious to see what this course has to offer. Anytime we go to a new course, it puts everyone on equal footing. There are no secret lines, no home court advantage. Each team will have to learn the fastest way around.”
He will be taking full advantage of the open prerunning sessions on Thursday and Friday. Racers will be limited to 45 mph but the ample time set aside will allow BJ to get his lines planned out for raceday. “We are looking forward to another great time with HDRA,” says BJ, “I am excited to learn a new course; I’ve heard that Ridgecrest has some unique features. We will do some homework and then get Rampage ready to go racing.”
Whether you are coming from Las Vegas or Los Angeles, Ridgecrest is the perfect location to witness BJ’s driving skills as he tangles with the HDRA Trophy Truck Field. You won’t want to miss it!
