SAN DIEGO–Attempting to move as quickly as possible with implementing changes into his SCORE International racing organization, Roger Norman has launched the new SCORE website as of 11 a.m. Pacific Time today. Beginning its 40th year as the world’s foremost desert racing organization in 2013 and producers of the SCORE Desert Series, the website for the ‘new’ SCORE will remain the same at www.score-international.com.

“Things move fast in the motorsports world and we diligently trying to make the transition from the old to the new SCORE International as seamless as possible and using the same address for the website is definitely a major part of that process,” said Norman, who last week purchased the legendary racing organization from Sal Fish. “We have a very talented in-house webmaster in Andrew Grimshaw and we fully expect that will it will be a work-in-progress to a degree, the new SCORE website will be extremely viable in today’s culture.”

One of the key features of the new SCORE website will be the coordination of racer registration on-line as well as spotlighting the exciting SCORE Media House that started in time for this year’s Tecate SCORE Baja 1000. Grimshaw will be working to develop a consistent platform for several of Norman’s businesses to make them as user-friendly as possible.

The three-race 2013 SCORE Desert Series, with all three massive special events held in Baja California, Mexico, will start with the 27th Annual MasterCraft Safety Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250, to be held March 8-10 in San Felipe.

The 2013 SCORE Desert Series will also be part of the quickly-evolving World Championship of Desert Racing, combining points accumulated in the three SCORE Baja races along with point earned from three of the four-race 2013 HDRA Series, four races all held in the United States.  Both the SCORE and HDRA series will crown their own individual class and overall point champions as well.

Again, the SCORE website is located on the internet at www.score-international.com.
