For the 45th Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, we were afforded the unique opportunity to chase the race with the All German Motorsports team.  This year’s race will cover over 1,100 miles (1,121.55, to be exact) of rugged Baja terrain, as the racecourse traverses the Baja Peninsula from north (the start at Ensenada) to south (the finish at La Paz).

The AGM team is fielding two cars for the race. The relatively new BMW-inspired #15 Trophy Truck driven by Martin Christensen and Armin Schwarz will head off as the 33rd Trophy Truck off the line. The truck first saw action at last year’s 1000, and it has been tweaked and readjusted after the SCORE Laughlin race, San Felipe 250 and Baja 500. With its unique design blending Class 1 handling characteristics and Trophy Truck speed and ability, the team finally feels the truck’s suspension, handling, power and drivetrain adjustments are in order. Now it comes down to surviving Baja.
